Baseball used to be way more exciting and I have said bring back the roids many times myself. I actually had a hard time enjoying a game before the crack down unless I was hammered. Now I hardly ever bother. I catch a few batters here and there but that is it.

Is this where I’m supposed to be concerned about the effects of steroids and greenies — base, billy, whiz — on an athlete? Sorry. Find another bleeding heart. Players know the risk now, just like they knew it then. They’re grown men. If they want to roll the dice with their testicles, I want to let them. Let those things shrink to the size of raisins. Just let the baseballs fly.

Drugs are bad for you but we all know that already.

One of the concerns I have these days is that the health care anger that was so prevalent just a few months ago is fading. There is no reason for this to happen. In fact, the situation is actually worse than we knew at the time.

Please continue to call for the repeal of that bill. It is far more important than the many other things floating around these days!

Oh I won’t. Buy it that is.

Some seem to think that the health care debate is over and the people will forget who is responsible for this. We won’t and it all belongs to the Democrats.

A few weeks before Congress passed a law that orders every American to buy health insurance, the Virginia legislature passed a law that says “no resident of this Commonwealth…shall be required to obtain or maintain a policy of individual insurance coverage.” Two weeks later, Idaho’s governor signed a law that declares “every person within the state of Idaho is and shall be free to choose or decline to choose any mode of securing health care services without penalty.”

Supporters of ObamaCare say such legislation, which more than 30 other states are considering, has no force, since the Constitution makes congressional enactments “the supreme law of the land.” But that is true only when federal laws are authorized by the Constitution, and the individual health insurance mandate is not.

This Finnish documentary was posted on November 11th. Just days before the climategate scandal broke. It refers to some of what is in the leaked e-mails and is very interesting even though most of it is sub-titled since it is in Finnish. Highly recommend you watch the whole thing.

Go Ahead, Tax Me

So I already cancelled some of my Dish Network channels to make up for the massive, unfair, rediculous tax increase on my smokes. If the cap and trade legislation (cap and tax) which may get a full vote in the house as early as tomorrow happens to become law I will need to find something else to get rid of. Every time they tax me, I will get rid of a luxery item that I am sure is taxed already which of course means less taxes paid by me. See, it just doesn’t work.
